Located in the valley of Gosau, our beautiful 18th century farmhouse offers a spacious Apartment and a separate B&B with en-suite facility
Sitting on the B166 through Gosau, the original house was built of wood in the 1600's and then rebuilt in stone in 1771. Renovations over the years have seen the house itself enlarged followed by the addition of the barns in 1960. The Double room at the front of the house retains the beauty of old wooden beams and small windows while the Apartment has a more modern feel with larger windows and higher ceilings. The doors into the Double room and Apartment are on the smaller side and the staircase was known to have been modified in 1920, although we dont actually know how much older it is. We love the old character of the house and hope you will too
Gosau offers 3 Banks, a Supermarket, Hairdresser, Tourist Info, Sports Shop, Electrical Shop, and a Doctor. There is also a Hallenbad (Swimming Pool), football pitch, and a park for children. Electric Bike hire is available in the Centre.
The Gosausee is 7km away and here you can take some lovely walks all year round. In the summer you can hire a small boat or swim in the beautiful clear water.
For those visiting for the skiing, the nearest ski lift (The Hornspitz) is under 2 km from us and the Zwieselalm is around 4km whilst Russbach is 6.5km. The free ski bus stops just along the road from the house.
